I recently sat down with Che Durena and JJ Liberman for Episode 86 of the 2 Goons Podcast for a conversation that somehow managed to be heartfelt, chaotic, and hilarious. I joined fellow creator Avalon Mira for a special conversation about identity, the internet, and what it means to build a career by fully embracing who you are.
We talked about my experiences growing up trans in South Carolina, finding my identity, navigating life in the South, and how the internet became a place where I could find community, explore creativity, and build a life on my own terms. We also got into the realities of dating, privacy, and the moments that shape us into the people we become.
Of course, this is 2 Goons, so there’s plenty of unfiltered energy along the way. Avalon brought her own wild stories about building a career in adult entertainment, going viral, handling criticism, and turning unexpected moments into opportunities.
