New Studio Vanniall Film Coming Soon: “The Cowboy and the Rose” with Viktor Belmont!
I’m so excited to announce The Cowboy and the Rose with Viktor Belmont, a new scene I directed coming soon from Studio Vanniall!
Cruising scenes are always a lot of fun to shoot, and lend themselves to spontaneity, but Viktor’s gruff-but-goofy cowboy persona had me giggling from the start of our first take. We built the rest of our narrative around that contrast — I thought of it as a collision of hard edges and softness, and the space we carved out in that explosion was beautiful! Playfulness is such an important part of how we express sensuality, and I love working with performers like Viktor who know that a little silly can be very sexy.
This is also one of a series of forthcoming projects we shot on our new Fuji movie cameras, and I’ve been loving the color we get out of them! They really brought out a lushness and vibrancy that adds so much to the intimacy of the scene. I can’t wait for you to see it all come together (pun totally intended)!
